Abstract:

Clarisse Uwimpuhwe, a girl from Cellule Kiyanja, Rwoga Sector of Commune Masango in Gitarama Prefecture, provides a list of his family members killed during the genocide. Her home was attacked on April 8, 1994 and the attackers stole all of the livestock and removed the doors from houses. She goes on to describe how some of her neighbors killed people, including her brother. Clarisse escaped to Buhanda and hid in a Tutsi pastor's house, but it was soon attacked and they hid by a hillside.
