Abstract:

Emenithe Mukamutesi, a girl from Kinwa Cellule, Mumonina Sector, and Commune Masango in Gitarama Prefecture, describes how she escaped with her family to Byimana on April 18, 1994. On reaching Byimana, they were chased away by Interahamwe and some of her relative, including her brothers and father, were killed. She identifies the people who killed her relatives, the place the killing took place and how each person was killed.
