Mutatsimpundu, Marie Christine of Cellule Nyarusange, Nyamagara Sector of Commune Tambwe in Gitarama Prefecture explains how the genocide started while she was at a place called Mwaka in Commune Mushubati and how she escaped and sort refuge at her grandparents’ home. She then escaped into a Pentecostal church in Nyabisindu and goes on to explain in graphic detail the way some of her relatives were killed.
