Abstract:

Victory Ingabire, a girl from Cellule Rabere, Nyamirembe Sector of Commune Kayenzi in Gitarama Prefecture, tells how an Interahamwe gang arrested her and used a machete to cut off one of her fingers. They also slashed her head and hand and left for the dead. With no water to drink, she drank blood from the dead, who included both Hutus and Tutsis.
