Testimony content:
Abstract:

Fabrice M. Line  Nihabimana, a boy from Cellule Gitwa, Kirwa Sector of Commune Kayenzi in Gitarama Prefecture, explains how he was in Kigali when the genocide began. He escaped first to Musasa in Kigali Ngali and then to Kayenzi. He hid in a home with other refugees; the house was attacked and only Fabrice and one other refugee survived. Fabrice escaped to Commune Taba and hid with a Christian family who created a mat-covered trench in their home to protect refugees. Fabrice then explains how his brother was killed and thrown in a pit after he was psychologically tortured by his captors - they told him to choose between a knife and a grenade as the tool to kill them.
