Abstract:

Jean Bosco Nturanyenabo, a boy from Bitare Sector of Commune Kayenzi in Gitarama Prefecture, names the people who stole his family’s livestock and feasted on them. He escaped from attackers and hid in a tree and then Gihogere in Cyimicanga. He was arrested by a gang, harassed, and beaten before he escaped to Rwabusoro in Kigali Ngali. Jean Bosco was put in an orphanage but was later taken to a seminary next to a nuns’ convent in Nyamata in Bugesera.
