1994 Rwandan genocide testimony by Eliane Niyoyigenera

Eliane Niyoyigenera, a girl from Cellule Kigarama, Rutagara Sector of Commune Mukingi in Gitarama Prefecture, explains how most of her relatives were killed, who killed them, and where each died. She goes on to narrate how her neighborhood was first attacked on April 23, 1994. Her entire family escaped except the father, who stayed behind and was killed. In order escape detection, the family never stayed long in a hideout before moving to another home to seek shelter.
