Abstract:

Chrysostome Uwimana, a boy from Cellule Busengo, Bunyogombe Sector of Commune Tambwe in Gitarama Prefecture, provides a list of people he knew who were killed during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. He also describes how his village was attacked and how some people sought refuge in Nyanza, Byimana, and Kabgayi. He also describes the many places he hid and how gangs slaughtered and ate cows belonging to Tutsi before setting homes on fire. Some of the gangs brought vehicles that they used to demolish homes. Among the people killed were Hutu men who were married to Tutsi women.
